The Petzl ZIGZAG
The Petzl ZIGZAG mechanical Prusik allows the user to move around efficiently in a tree using classic Prusik pulley system technique. The friction chain provides precision and fluidity when moving around. The pulley is mounted on sealed ball bearings to allow the slack to be taken up easily. Can be used on either doubled ropes or a single rope, providing great versatility. The lower attachment hole is fixed to ensure alignment of the device with the axis of the worker and to optimize grip.
Petzl ZIGZAG PLUS
The Petzl ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusik allows the user to move around efficiently in a tree using classic Prusik pulley system technique. The friction chain provides precision and fluidity when moving around. The pulley is mounted on sealed ball bearings to allow the slack to be taken up easily. Can be used on either doubled ropes or a single rope, providing great versatility. The lower attachment hole with high-efficiency swivel ensures stable and correct positioning of the mechanical Prusik and optimal rope glide through the device.
The Petzl CHICANE
The Petzl CHICANE auxiliary braking device allows ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusiks to be used on single ropes. It provides continuous additional friction on descents. The excellent compatibility of the CHICANE and mechanical Prusik as an assembled unit ensures smooth rope glide through the brake during ascents. The ergonomic handle provides excellent grip and facilitates movement while limb walking. Thanks to the swing open side plate, installation is quick and easy.
Lower strap for Knee Ascent Loop assembly
Lower strap for KNEE ASCENT LOOP assembly increases durability. It features a foot loop for optimal foot positioning. It attaches on the lower hole of the CROLL rope clamp.
Petzl lower strap for KNEE ASCENT CLIP assembly
The Petzl lower strap for Knee Ascent Clip assembly increases durability. It features a connector for attaching to the webbing on the arborist's boot. It attaches on the lower hole of the CROLL rope clamp.
Elastic for the Petzl Knee Ascent Assemblies.
It attaches to the upper strap of the Knee Ascent assemblies and the upper hole of the Croll rope clamp and increases durability.
Upper Strap for Knee Ascent Assemblies
Increases durability. It attaches to the waistbelt of SEQUOIA and SEQUOIA SRT harnesses. It has slots for connecting the elastic of the KNEE ASCENT assemblies and a connector for attaching the mechanical Prusik. The strap allows the ZIGZAG or ZIGZAG PLUS and CHICANE unit to be raised.
