Description

SAS A-Frame Deadweight Anchor

Ideal for any location without suitable structural anchor points, or where anchor points would be problematic or too expensive to install, the A-Frame deadweight rope access anchor has a Safe Working Load of 250kg and conforms to EN795 class 1 (PPE Temporary Anchor). Also designed & manufactured in accordance with BS7883:2005, and assists users to work in accordance with BS7985:2002.

Featuring an in-built shock absorber, it has 1.8m high anchor points which make it easy for an abseiler to start their descent and helps reduce the risk of ropes running over sharp edges.

The frame breaks down into seven pieces (plus weights) making it easily portable. Minimal assembly is required. The wheels are fitted with brake levers, so the unit can be moved sideways effortlessly by one person or locked as required. This function can reduce the need for re-rigging.

There is no need to penetrate the roof surface/membrane, eliminating any need for alteration to building aesthetics.

The tubular mild steel framework is finished with a yellow powder coating, and each unit is individually serial numbered. All joints are welded (no nuts or bolts are used in the framework’s construction), ensuring that the trolley is immensely strong and more than capable of dealing with the demanding nature of its working environment.
