Designed for use in industrial rope access and for fall arrest purposes, the deadweight trolley is a portable anchor device for use behind structural handrails, balustrades and parapet walls.

Full description

Description

Portable Deadweight Trolley

The Deadweight Trolley is ideal for use where space is limited or where there are no suitable anchor points available, such as on bare flat roofs (with a structural handrail, balustrade or parapet wall - Where there are none of these it may be possible to tie the trolley back to structural anchor points). There is no need to penetrate the roof surface/membrane, eliminating any need for alteration to building aesthetics.

The Deadweight Trolley is made up of a frame weighing approximately 28kg and 6 x 25kg weights. Quick and easy to set up, store and transport, it can be moved sideways easily without dismantling, thus reducing de-rigging / re-rigging time.

Important Notice!: Must be used on a roof with a parapet wall or structural handrail (as specified by a structural engineer) Minimum upstand of 60cm Normally a structural handrail is one where the base plate is bolted into the structure of the building. In a fall arrest situation the DWT must be used so that the operator is inline with the equipment’s direction of fall and where a pendulum cannot occur.
