Petzl ASAP
The Petzl ASAP mobile fall arrester is the market leading back-up device for rope access systems. At moderate speeds, the locking wheel runs freely in both directions, following the user. However, when a rapid movement occurs, the wheel stops, pinching the rope between the wheel and the ASAP frame, thus stopping the user. The ASAP can also be used as a primary belay device in a fall arrest system.
May only be used with the Petzl ASAP and Petzl ASAP Lock fall arrester.

The Petzl Asap’sorber 20cm is designed for use with the Petzl ASAP or Petzl ASAP Lock. It allows the user to work at a distance from the back-up rope, thus protecting it from damage. .

The Petzl Asap’sorber 40cm is designed for use with the Petzl ASAP or Petzl ASAP Lock. It allows the user to work at a distance from the back-up rope, thus protecting it from damage.
Petzl Asap’sorber Axess
The Petzl Asap’sorber Axess is designed for use with the Petzl ASAP or Petzl ASAP Lock. It allows the user to work at a distance from the back-up rope, thus protecting it from damage. Unlike the Petzl Asap’sober 20cm and 40cm versions, the Petzl Asap’sorber Axess gives a 250kg two-person rescue capacity. The Asap’sorber Axess replaces the L57.
